What you can save from Instagram

SaveVideo’s Instagram video downloader saves videos from public Instagram posts as MP4 files. Copy the post’s link, paste it at the top of this page, and pick a quality. You don’t log in to Instagram, or to anything else.

Posts and Reels

Links to video posts (instagram.com/p/...) and to Reels both go in the same box. Reels also have their own page, the Instagram Reels downloader.

Public accounts only

SaveVideo doesn’t log in to Instagram, so it can’t save videos from private accounts, or anything Instagram shows only to logged-in users.

Questions about downloading from Instagram

Does the account owner see that I saved their video?

No. The Instagram video downloader doesn’t use your Instagram account at all, so nothing you save shows up as activity from you. You paste a link, and SaveVideo reads the public post without logging in. The same is true for Reels you save on the Instagram Reels downloader.

Can I save Instagram Stories here?

No. The Instagram video downloader covers video posts and Reels, not Stories, so a Story link may not load here. If the same video was also posted to the feed or as a Reel, paste that post’s link instead. The Instagram Reels downloader doesn’t save Stories either.
